I just want to say Hello to all and that I have enjoyed reading this forum. I have not seen the same type of sarcasm and condescension displayed toward questioners as in other forums of similar nature. There are a lot of good questions being presented and the forum members really seem to care about helping those of us who are new at CAD and especially Revit.
I am in the process of 'drawing' a monitor barn, for horses, with Dutch doors and downloaded the door models by Dean Camlin, to whom I say Thank You and kudos.
I have one question. The doors need to be 4' wide x 8' high so the horses aren't spooked by a lower door header. How do I change the parameters to 8'? I duplicated the doors, resized them and they still come out at 7'-0''.

Hard to say without actually seing the door family but you should check your parameters in the family as well as when its brought into the project along with the type properties for starters.

Hi Muddygboggy,
You have to learn how to modify the family. It really can pay a big dividend down the road.
You can download one door family I posted and play with it. Go to "Downloads/08-Openings/08 10 00 - Doors & Frames, "Adjustable Hollow Metal Door for CMU Wall-Revised". Hoping that can give you some hint regarding to your issue.

Thanks CDWdavid. I have downloaded your door family and the Families Guide from RA. Don't understand everything I know about it yet, but I am working with the Families Guide so maybe between the two I can glean some insight.
