I've just started my first couple projects in Revit 2012 and I've come across a problem I didn't have in Revit 2011. The "vertical projection" option seems to have been removed from the element properties box for framing.

The roof framing for my project is offset from the roof level in some areas and does not show on plan. Did the vertical projection option get moved somewhere else or removed entirely? I'm not sure how to get my framing to show correctly on plan.

Thanks for any assistance!

My view range is set where it needs to be. The view range does explain the disappearance of the vertical projection option in element properties.

I can open a completed Revit 2011 job in 2012 and every beam/joist I had previously set using vertical projection is no longer visible on plan.

So it sounds to me like something changed in the program itself.
