Hello, I'm new, yah I know captain obvious, but I'm looking for a claw machine type gantry crane that can be placed in the celling veiw. I've tried to create my own but I'm having problems with the constriants and beams.

Why would you want to place a gantry or any crane in a ceiling plan? Gantry would be floor hosted. Any model elements that are within the field of view of the ceiling plan can be shown there even if they were floor hosted.
Did you look at the cranes here on RC?

I've looked and found one overhead crane, but for my project I need a claw machine set-up version of the crane. I tried modifing it but I am having trobule with the beams and constraints
