I’ve been using Revit a few months now and until today it has been rock solid. Today I attempted to open a completed job, the normal status bar, maybe a short second one, and then splash is idle for a couple minutes and BAM Revit is no longer running? As far as I can tell, there no version or build changes. I don’t anticipate having to do further work on this file, but you never know on these things. This is ALARMING!

it is indeed!
first open Revit and before you open the file tick the Audit button, if that does not help,
go to help-->create support request and submit your file to Autodesk to have a look.
