So I have a (5) devices that need to control access to a door. I thought of adding a door family with these devices and making that a type, lets says SCR-1. SCR-2 will have somewhat different devices. The idea is to place groups that make up SCR-1 and SCR-2 etc. instead of placing each individual device. When I place these devices individually, in coarse and medium they show the annotation tag, while in fine, you see the 3d device in plan. When I place these devices within a door family (all devices placed at specific distances from the door/ door frame), the family comes in great in fine and I can see all the devies in plan. Once I changed the visual style in the model, my door family (SCR-1) to coarse or medium the labels go away
My question is twofold.
Is there a way to make these tags for my deives show up within the door family?
I am trying to avoid placing each of the many devices individually for each group. With the door placement, all my devices show up. Is this possible to make the placement of kits or grpups easy and simple as well as the devices in the door family still able to be scheduled?
Any insight would be appreciated.
