Hi there,

I'm using Revit 2012 and trying to export my project as a DWG. Each time I've tried, it's saved each view as a separate DWG file....is there an easy way around this? Any help much appreciated....

W#hen you export, uncheck the box "xref views on sheets" when on the file naming tab.

Hey there - appreciate your reply, I unchecked the box yet it still exported each view individually....anymore ideas? Thank you!

Sorry, but I have yet to see it do that so I think you have erred.  Maybe those views are left over from a previous try.  Look at your time/date for the file.

Hey - yeah checked all the times/dates etc.....I've attached a screen shot (But they often don't attach so might not show)...I've fiddled round but keeps seeming to create a heap of different files....not sure what else to do : (

I think you may have not cleared your selection set and you have views as well as sheets selected for export.

Do one sheet into a clean directory and verify that you have done it correctly.  If that doesn't give you just 2 files - dwg & pcp & you jpeg's then you may have a corrupt program.
