I am trying to create an opening in an existing wall. We are creating an addition and need to demo an opening in the existing exterior wall to connect the new addition. It will just be an opeing and not have a door included. Is there a way to do this such that it will show correctly on within the phasing?

I the exterior wall continues up a couple stories so I don't want to split the wall and insert a section that would be on a demo layer as it would affect the existing wall above.

answered my own question.. I created a door family without a door or frame.
