Hi guys, im currently building a multi family unit. I cant decide if i like it better with a wood slatted type roof or without it. please look at the pictures and give some feedback, thanks!

No opinion on the style, but I sure hope it's not in hurricane country.

That roof will behave the same way as an airplane wing.  Ask an engineer what he thinks the uplift on that thing might be, or get the Nucleus extension for revit and model a 100 MPH wind on the high side.

ah, gotcha! i decided it looked better without the roof anyway and took it off

thats good that you took it of beacuse that would of been very expensive to built. you would of need big trusses or moment frames to accomplisth that.
