So I am extremely new to Revit and we are starting our first project in Revit. I working in 2012. I have a ramp that I am trying to create a handrail that would attach to the wall. should I use the handrail funtion. Is there a way to define a handrail without balusters? I'm not so concerned with showing the wall mounting attachement, just looking to get a rail in there that would be at the right height and rise with the ramp.
Any help would be apprciated. thanks

Thanks Typhoon, however I don't seem to have that option (wall mounted bracket) available in my selections. I also checked if it is within the library which I could insert and couldn'f find it. Is there somewhere that I can download it? and insert it into my library.
Thanks.

That handrail bracket is available here in the downloads. Search Handrail.

This was actually very helpful.
I just realised I come on this page and read threads to help with my Revit work and then nobody ever says thanks to the helpers.
So thanks guys. You saved me the stress of modelling those railings in-place.
Cheers!

I'm glad to see that my original post from 2012 is still helping other people!
