I have a basement with furred walls that up until today I have been able to join to my foundation wall and the window cuts through both walls. I opened it up this morning and they are no longer cutting through the furred walls. After playing around for about an hour I have been able to get 2 of the walls to cut, but cannot seem to get the other ones to work. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on?

this glitch happens to me every once and a while. mostly when i try to place windows in a angled bay, where the wall joins are not 90 degrees...anyway, I have to usually remake the window cut. but you could do two things in my opinion.

1. use the opening from the window library, place in the furring matching your window size.

2. use the edit wall profile and cut openings into the furring manually.

Try simply joinig the two walls.  When one wall hosts an opening an another wall (like a furred wall) is placed against it, the opening will cut both walls after using the join tool.

he does that. its a glitch that the opening disappears or the window does when you reload the project.

Have you tried:

Unjoin the walls.

Delete the Window.

Join the Walls again.

Add the window back.

Q. Is this a custom window or OOTB ?
