I have a problem with Revit opening eveything in its owm application rather than just one. If i have a project open and say i click in a folder to open another family our project it starts whole nother application. Any ideas. Thanks

Don't do that. If you want two projects open in one session, open from within the session.

never had the prob until today. we unistalled a trail 0f 2012 so we could install with a server lic. since evidentally autodesk tells you cant activate a trial version to a server lic. so after the uninstall i started doing the other application thing.
