Hi,I'm using a student version of RAC 2011 and everything works out well upon installation. My problem is that whenever I pan or zoom in on my model, the screen will blink black and white, and at certain zoom level, the screen stays all black. I'm using an ASUS K52jc-Ex303 laptop with the following specs:Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bitProcessor: Intel Intel® Core™i3-370 2.40 GHzMemory: 4GB DDR3 Graphics Card: NVIDIA Geforce 310MI have already installed the latest drivers from nvidia, which doesn't seem to helpMatter of fact, it's so bad, that i'm always forced to turn off hardware acceleration which is a headache especially with large-scale models and it keeps on crashing.I understand the fact that this GPU was built for gaming, and its not listed in the list of recommended graphics cards by autodesk. (I get the some features...blah..blah message everytime I open RAC) My question is, is there anyway I can tweak the settings within the nvidia control panel to help improve this issue on my revit architecture 2011? Any other solutions?Ps. not sure if someone already addressed this on this forum, but my searches seem to have been in vain so that's why I'm posting this. Already posted this on revitcity, augi, and revitforum but with zero replies.

I think it should work with 2011 but don't try 2012, I recomend 64bit for that.
Check under options -> Graphics -> if you have turned on hardware acceleration, try to turn it of or the other way alround.
I see you tried that already.
When using a 32bit system windows uses 2GB for windows and 2GB for other programs, you can change this to set a so called 3GB switch. It changes the settings and willuse 1gb for windows and 3gb for the other programs. According to your provided info about opening big projects this might do the trick. Try to search here on revitcity or autodesk for more info.
Be very carefull, when I first tried my labtop would not start at al at first, I had to get a guy from IT to fix the script.
Good luk and be careful

Hi, thanks for your reply...
I uninstalled rac2011 and installed rac2012(educ version) and the issue have disappeared. I'm not getting the blinking pan and zoom anymore. Although, for opening large files, there is the occassional lag that comes with it, and crashing... I think your right with the 64-bit version performance, as I tried opening a same big file (125MB-ish .rvt document)I tried with mylaptop to a friend who has 64-bit revit, and the thing runs smoothly with it even though we have the same identical processor and nvidia card.
