I'm using Revit Architecture for a comprehensive studio design project, and working with a partner. I am wondering what the best way to utilize Revit's work sharing capabilities is given our current setup. We each have personal laptops, wireless and ethernet internet access available, Windows 7, Revit Architecture 2012. I'm familiar with the standard Central/Local file requirements, and have tried connecting our personal laptops with a crossover ethernet cable. My partner is able to view and access the central file location, on my computer, through Windows Network sharing, but Revit says the file path location is invalid. If anybody has any tips, tricks, alternate setups, or suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
