I got five stars probably because only one person rated me, if you notice I only have three now. and it doesnt mean anything to me, I am confused, why does it matter?

Ok I see. The rating does not consider the # of ratings . . . 1 - 5 star rating immediately makes you a 5 star. Now I get it.

dgcad, Note that his user score is now 3.... instead of the 5 it was last week. Your score and mine are about the same even though you were here a year before me.
As far as how those are calculated? I'm only a moderator but I know that in the FAQ it says:
User scores are determined by their activities here on RevitCity.com. Certain activities are weighted more than others. We also weight forum posts and uploaded objects based on how useful they are to the community.
The following items have fixed scores:
- Tutorials - 100 pts
- Gallery Images - 2 pts
- Upload Content - 5 pts
Obviously that is not the whole story because you can also get ratings on your posts. I would think there is a multiplier used from these user ratings.
