Is there a way i can set up revit to have the "hide unreferenced view tags" button always checked?  Other than saving a plot setting?

I never see mine unchecked so there is obviously a way.  I beleieve Revit remembers your last use and I believe the setting stays with the project (and template).  I know I never have to change my settings.
