I just installed Revit Architecture 2012,and it's running extremely slow,It pause everytime i do anything(zooming,selecting,...).I was working with 2011 version before, and it dosen't have any problem.and the file that I'm working is not too heavy,it's just 20MB!

Ps:I'm running HP Pavillion Dv6/intel core i7-2670qm CPU @ 2.20ghz/8 GB ram/windows 7 64bit

If you have been running revit for an extended period of time its suggested that you close revit completely to relinquish the memory that it has used then restart it up.  Not sure it this will fix your problem but it works when mine starts running a little slowly.

have you checked your driver compatibility and hardware acceleration? 2012 does have a couple more visual options that use more system resources. when testing a project in one release verses another I like to open the project in each version then in my task manager i set the process affinity for each to their own individual processor. then i click and open views in each version as fast as i can, zoom and pan. I also do something similar with families. I'll copy them 1000 times and switch views and open views a bunch of times to see what impact it has on the project.
