Has anyone tried the Revit Add-on, Elum Tools?  I have only read through their website:

http://elumtools.com/#, but wasn't sure about trying the 30-day free trial or not without hearing opinions of other Revit MEP users. Please let me know what you think of it.

Thanks,

Rebecca

Once I’ve installed with Revit closed and opened Revit, the product is not activated. I attempted to use the “Activate License” button on the ElumTools tab.

The “Register Trial (step 1)” button gives me - Sorry this Beta Version is not available for a Trial License.

The “Activate Trial (step 2)” button will not accept the given key in the original download link as a valid license key (this is the key from the email link above)

The “single user license” and “Temporary EDU license” will also not accept this key.

The network license request will not recognize the LAI service which is running on my employer’s network when I hit the “Request Network Access Key…” button

So the "free 30-day trial" really won't work.  Ok, maybe I will try it later this week and see if I end up with the same errors.

Thanks for the input!

I was able to get the thing working after talking with someone at Lighting Analysts (who was pretty helpful).

If you use AGI32 already, and have some Revit projects, this could be a great tool.

In just a minute I was able to produce some pretty accurate calcs. Give it a shot, but use a local copy that will not be shared. Add-ons like this add data that might cause some issues in a shared model where everyone doesnt have the addon. Also, you dont want this extra data causing potential issues should you not continue to use it.

Ok, thanks for the advise, I'll make sure I call them if I run into the same issues then.

Thanks!
