I have a corrupt material in my list of materials.  When I open the materials panel revit crashes.  When I go to delete the material revit crashes.  Does anyone know how I can get this one material out of my project??

Is this a material you created yourself?  I had a problem once similar, it wouldnt let me delete the material I had made so I tried to just rename it and then delete it and I have no clue why but it worked.  Not sure it will for you but you never know!

I acctually had a lapse of memory this morning when I was trying to do this but remembered shortly after I wrote this post.

Make sure that there is nothing in your model that is reading that material.  (aka make sure none of your walls, windows...etc... have this material listed.  If you have "painted" this material on anything you will need to "remove paint" for those areas)

Once you have done that select purge and purge out the offending material.
