Hi

Im expirenced with revit architecture but not mep but wanted to use it to show the pipes in 3d on my architcture file so i opened i with mep and made some pipes... now if i select the pipe "green dot" i can move around and delete it....but if i dont want the pipe to show up in some views i got a problem.... i simply cant select and hide the pipe ...it stays and is not able to be selected.

now I think that it might be my weak knowlage on worksets that makes this a problem for me to hide pipes? since now i got a mechanical workset instead of just 1 standard workset.... how do i distable this mechanical workset?

I think the pipes might not be associated with the right workset because when i "try to hide" this workset it still shows all pipes...

anyone who can "guess" my problem? thanks

with the help from WWHUB i got the answer.

In visibility grafics i checked "show catagories from all diciplines" and then i found "pipes" etc and unchecked it.

2nd option was to set the correct workset for the pipes. the pipes where placed on the standard workset but by isolating the pipes and changing the workset in the properties to mechanical I had a 2nd option to hide the mechanical workset and by that get rid of the pipes.

thanks for the advice WWHUB
