Hello Revit people. I am fairly new to revit, having worked with autocad and other cad programs such as solidbuilder and mitek.

My question is: Is there a way to add curbing in a method similar to adding new walls, or do you have to add as a family and edit the direction as you go?

Any feedback will be much appreciated.

There are several 'workaround' methods for doing curbs on slopes, but none are to my satisfaction.  The best one is a 'slab edge' profile hosted to a sloped floor slab or model line.  I have tried many different methods for doing site work, but all are time consuming and 'workaround' in nature, so I have gone to doing my site plans in 2D layered like a CAD drawing with a surveyors CAD drawing underlayed for topo lines.

Attached two methods, as rod said these can be time consuming but give decent results, also there is a add on program called SiteWorks, by Eagle Point, which seems interesting though a bit expensive. Other options are to use short walls as curbs, and to cut out the parking portion of your topography and drop it down six inches. Some where on this site another method is explained to use a freeform topography and I believe create a roof from that, then you can use the roof fascia tool to create curbs, I have not tried that one as yet.

Thankyou for taking the time to give an answer. I will experiment with these.
