I am having trouble drawing a new hatch. I need to create a new pattern that consists of irregular size rectangles. It is basically made up of a series of repeating rows. It starts with a 60x15cms rectangle, followed by a 40 x15 cm rectangle and then a 20x15cm rectangle. On the second row, this pattern will mirror itself starting with the 20x15 cms rectangle. The starting point reference will be 20 cms to the right after the starting point of the 60x15 at the first row (both of this rectangle centers line up horizontally). This line continues with the 40x15 followed by the 60x15. I’ve attached a CAD file with the pattern and its dimensions for better understanding. Could somebody please help me? Thanks.

Revit wants millimetres for a metric pattern so a reasonably compact definition is ...

;%UNITS=MM

*PATTERN

No worries, a DXF from the DWG was easy to cut down to the essentials manually.

We also benefit because that pattern showed up an edge case in testing a new feature.

Win-win Smile
