I am trying to link an AutoCAD 2011 to Revit 2011.  Linking is not a problem but the text that looks fine in AutoCAD is missing all the tabs when linked into Revit and the linked file is also missing the images that show in AutoCAD.  Any solutions for making text tabs and images show in Revit from a linked AutoCAD file?

I have never had good luck importing dwgs into Revit. It works ok for backgrounds, but that's about it. Revit doesn't seem to like wrapping in mtext (you'll have to manually put a return in), tabs/bulleted lists in mtext, leaders, and it seems to struggle with dims

What are you trying to link in, and why? It may be faster/easier to either recreate it in Revit, or just leave it in Autocad and plot from there.

I am working with a client that wants some things in AutoCAd native (not exported).  I thought it might be nice to only have to plot from one program and not have to plot from AutoCAD also, but it looks like it is not to be.  Thanks.

It would be nice, and I've attempted it myself, but in the end it seems to be easier to keep the Autocad stuff in Autocad.
