In AutoCAD I could double click the scroll button to zoom extents.  It there a way to create the same setting in Revit?

If you seem to need to go to extents, because you can't find your model it probably is because you have inadvertently placed an object that is located a long way from the rest of your model. If you find and erase this object you will easily be able to see your model. This has happened to me on occasion.

I don't think you can ticker with mouse controls within revit. Just hit 'ZE' on the keyboard.
