I am playing around with some trusses that I will eventually need to make more custom for an upcoming project that will need to be able to see the webs in 3D. The problem I have is with the webs of the trusses not mitering to eachother or the top/bottom chord. Is there a way to do this that I am just missing? I have attached an image of the truss (standard fink) that I am starting with and the members are just squared off when they should be mitered together.

Look at some of the truss families here on RC and reverse engineer them. They work.

I have looked at a few of them from here but it looks like most of them just modeled the truss. Is that the best way to do it? Makes it hard to change members later if I have to model them all. Or am I still missing something.
