oww you will have to make an in place model , and set the category to roof.

An easy way could be a sweep with the profiles, add a vertical void to cut the corners.

well, if its only ONE of those, then the answer is yes, is the faster way. If you have to do many more, then you should make a parametric family

Havn't done that before. It is only one anyway so might go with the first option. Making a family sounds hard though.
