I use Revit 2011. I asked this question a week ago with no response. I am wondering why my elevations markers have in part disappeared. All I can see is some letters and numbers but no pointer. Help!

Carl

You mean the elevation callout?  Be clear when you use the term elevation because it has several meanings.

It sounds like you have hidden the pointer maybe?  Use the lightbulb to reveal hidden items.

It is the elevation view markers, the ones with the arrow, that are the problem. There are no hidden elements and clicking the light bulb doesn't help. There are no unchecked items in VG. The only thing I see is a number where the arrow would normally be and something like A6, A7 where the square would be. Maybe this helps.

Thanks

Carl

If you are using the standard elevation callout and not one that someone else created or modified, then maybe your program or file is corrupted.

As a test, start a new project, create some elevation views and place them on sheets to see what happens with the callout.
