Hi,

Our model is split by level and not by sector. How can we overcome the markup and embellishment inefficiency caused by not having a model running continuous vertically and split into sectors? There won't be seamless joining of geometry and we can't use the join geometry tool. It is forbidden by the vader. There is talk of rebellion however.

It seems that you have decided to limit the capabilities of Revit by trying to make it be CAD.  I don't understand why you want to diminish the power of this program and create all this grief.  The problems you created can be solved by learning to use Revit as it was intended to be used.  Have you looked around for available training?  This is a great program but you need to understand how it functions.

Specifically, do you think you can forsee great slowdown in opening and closing our files, if we use the join geometry tool throughout the model?
