Trying to match a series of windows in and existing plan, I downloaded one from Autodesk Seek. There are multiple windows of varying sizes and top contours (straight, arched, and half arched). All are trimmed with brick on all sides. I used the downloaded window and edited its family to add the bricks, but when I load it into the project, but brick and mortar elements reposition themselves. The bricks are supposed to have a 1/2" and the mortar, 1/4".
Don't know if the walls could be a problem, but doubt it. They are stacked walls with stone first floor and stucco upper with a brick soldier sweep between. The exterior faces are in the same plane. Any ideas?
