Hey,

I made an annotation symbol for my casework family. I made it little bit bigger than it should be. I guess that generic annotation template has no scale. So how can I make my symbol smaller without doing it manually?

your generic annotation does have a scale... 1:1. You create the symbol based on how you want it represented when you print it out no matter what scale your drawing view is. You'll have to edit your family manually to reduce the size. You could try to create the symbol in a few various sizes and then set up visibility parameters for each one. This will allow you some flexibility once in the project.

You can add a parameter inside the annotation family and tie it to a dimension that drives the 2d geometry.

The parameter can be Instance or Type specific.

A grid bubble with a variable radius is a basic example.
