The Architect redefined the wall types in the project that I have linked into MEP. I had random orphaned and UNassociated items in the drawing after he did this. I rehosted all Devices and when the drawing is updated by the Architect I again lose hosting or the object families (multible families) move outside the model and become unassociated. When looking at the linked files in MEP the walls are showing no ID numbers and When I take an ID number of a wall that is given me by the Architect and enter it into MEP the dialogue box says that it is not valid and won't be used. I tried every walltype in the buildings and all show the same thing.
I am really under a crunch here and if anyone can help me figure out what to do I would greatly appreciate it.
