Having a similar problem in one of our projects and would like to know the best solution.

I've tried drawing a line and measuring the angle and then rotating the crop view accordingly and the view still seems to be rotated by a small degree.

Any thoughts?

We really don't know what you have done.  If it is rotated then you did it.

Did you copy/trace CAD?  That always can be an issue.

You can rotate the viewport like you have done but that is typically a poor solution unless it is to correct a previous rotation.   The rotation is only for that view.  If the entire project needs to be rotated, then you need to use the rotate north/project tools as applicable.

If you built the model incorrectly, then I suggest you correct it.
