Hi guys.

This is my first post. If it sounds as if I don't know anything about this it's because I don't. Hopefully you can help me solve this little annoying problem.

My partner has created a building in Revit Architechture 2012, and now I want to draw the HVAC systems for the building, but for some reason, all the standard ducts, air terminals and duct fittings are not loadable in this project, despite it being perfectly usable in a "new" project. This bothers me a lot since I can't make a continous ventilation duct, but has to draw every bend and tee individually.

Please help! Smile

/AAU-Rasmus

You don't say what program you are using.   Revit MEP has these items in its library.

so are you actually missing the families? or are you just unable to use the automatically.

If your missing the fitting families, they should be in your library under \Duct\Fittings\Rectangular

If you have them loaded but they don't drop in automatically, this means that defaults are not assigned. Select your duct, then click 'edit type', then assign your default fittings. Similar to the attached image.
