Hey, Im a student rather new to revit and I am having trouble getting a material to show underneath a void extrusion. The materials are partially showing up but arent complete. Any ideas how to keep the materials after I make cuts with void extrusions? Thanks (I'm working in version 2012)

If your material is a patterned surface like brick, it will not show up correctly on a warped surface like you have.
