Our company standard for receptacle annotation is with half of the circle filled in. I'm trying to use a formula so that if the elevation is higher than a default of 1' 6", the the annotation shows this half filled in circle. I have associated the filled in part with a visibility parameter.I've tried using the formula Elevation > 1' 6", but I get an error message saying that Elevation is not a valid parameter.I've also tried creating a seperate ElevationReceptacle parameter, but this means that I have to change the heigth of the receptacle in two places, one for the annotation and one for the 3D geometry. My skills are not good enough to associate the 3D geometry with the new parameter and the changes in the wall placement.I have attached a couple of screen clips. One showing model properties and one showing family parameters. The red receptacle is the way I want it to look when I change the elevation of the outlet.I have also attached the receptacle family. Don't get too critical with some parts. It's still a work in progress.

Thanks,

Rabbit

Rabbit,

I opened that file, but it looks like the floorplan shows the receptacle in elevation and the elevation shows the symbol in the floor plan....did you mean to do it like that?
