My company just started using MEP 2011, so we're all kind of new to this and nobody knows what's going on.
When i draw ductwork, regardless whether it's rectangular or round, it will either slope it on a long run, or transition the height automatically after 1-2 elbows. When I try to lock the specified elevation (for example elevation of exhaust fan duct outlet), revit will 1-2 turns later place all the ductwork to another random elevation and won't connect to the exhaust fan.I tried drawing within the building and connecting equipment, as well as way off the grid randomly in space, and am having the same issue. Even in blank space, it won't draw a duct with 1-2 turns that stays at let's say 9ft start to finish.
Any helpful hints are greatly appreciated.
