A detail component was mistakingly updated and loaded into our model as a shared version of the element.  When we try to uncheck the shared option in the component and load it back into our project we get the error, "You cannot load a non-shared version of the family because a shared version of it is already loaded."  This is a problem because once a detail component was set to "shared", it lost its arrange ability, Bring to front/Send to back, and brought that component to the front on all our sections and details.  Making the situation worse, the non-shared detail components that are now behind the shared component cannot be brought to front, it doesn't work and the shared component stays on top.

A simple solution would be to select all instances and replace the component with a non-shared version of the same component with a different name.  Unfortunately we can't do that because the detail component has multiple instance visibily parameters and swapping out components would mean they would all be set back to the default visibility setting. We have this component placed quite a few times and I am hoping there might be something out there that we haven't thought of doing yet.  I have a feeling that we are SOL but I thought I'd see if anyone had any similar issues or answers that could help.

Thanks,

Tim
