Revit has very limited image manipulation tools. Best to use photoshop or similar if you want to start blending images. You just place the text like any other text? Not sure what issue you are having?

Do you mean you are trying to place a JPEG image onto a modelled water tank? You can use the DECAL tool to do this. In a nutshell- 1/ pick the decal tool from the Modeling tab in the Design bar 2/ select the JPEG image you wnat (it must be at "full size" to avoid pixellation if you increase the size from a normal photo size) 3/ you can adjust settings for reflection of the image etc. 4/ run the render and you will see you JPEG image on the tank. I have given you an example on a circular brick wall I hope this helps/what you wanted answered!

You can try exporting your 3D view as jpeg Then open a new blank view & import jpeg Add Text Or If you make Workplane then text can be written (but will also read backward when you spin) so decide on your orientation first
