Due to my post on yesterday, I had a problem with creating mullions on a glass dome !

Now I have already surrendered to that task, and try to make just the glass shape without any mullions at first.

Firstly, I have created mass in family, I couldn't use revolving method since the shape of the dome is asymmetrical to the ellipse shape. So, I have created many projection curves on different planes but I had a trouble with the end of the mass model since I couldn't enclose that end section to the base level.

Another trouble is when I loaded the mass model to the project, then I created panel system from that mass on the floor that I have already creaed. I tried to assigned room to the overall area but I couldn't

So, my question are.. .

1. How to fixed the problem that couldn't enclose the end section of the model

OR How to create this model with better method ?

2. How can I assign the room to the overall area of the model ?

Is there anything deal with the mass model that I have to particularly concern ?

I really need helps ! Please

Thank you in advance   =)

I have a similar issue, creating a dome even more asymmetrical than the one you're doing, and I also don't have an answer. One thing I'm wondering is, to solve the termination of the end of the dome, to make the dome slightly larger than needed and to cut a void form out from the bottom to get a flush edge facing the ground on all sides? Just a thought, would also appreciate some help in regards to this issue.
