I am having problems with my sections, I cannot get the topography out of the building and it is not allowing me to put furniture on the floor. I am also having problems creating walkways and coloring the grass green. Also, how to make a parking lot of a sloped surface.

WELCOME
to cut topo out of your section, you will need to put a pad under the building, refer tutorial.
to create walkways, you will need to use floors and ramps and if it's a complicated site, you can refer to my tutorial on creating complex slabs and walkways...
to get the grass bit, you will need to split surface.
