I've got two types of trusses along side each other I have drawn a ref line down the slope of the larger trusses and saved it. The smaller series of trusses across a verandah are causing me problems. I have tried to get them aligned to the larger trusses vai the ref line but to no avail. I select one of the smaller trusses and TOOL>Set Work Plane but no luck. I have just drawn individual trusses rather than a beam system under Structural. Can anyone help

try deleting your little truss, set the work plane to your reference plane and draw it again...
