Searched the forum and Help for this one.I am able to make a view template in 2012. On my 2009 version I revit closes down when I modify or create a new view template.
I have tried 4 times, opened closed and the same thing. Anyone else experienced this. It happens on other machines as well.

Are you running the latest updates from autodesk? I was having this same problem with MEP 2011 not too long ago and once I installed the latest updates everything was good to go. Hope this helps! -kcaparella
