Does anyone know a method (work arounds welcome) to create enlarged plans from an overall plan that will allow for view reference tags to be used at the matchlines. Basically I need dependent views at a different scale . . . I have done it before, but I can’t remember how and I may not have done it the right way . . .

Not sure what you mean. When section/detail/elevation Callouts are made in an enlarged, callout plan that is a plan detail, those sub-callouts will only show there. If the plan call-out is set to floor plan, all sub-callouts will show in all plan views.
