i have created a casework schedule.My project casework family consists of differnt types like brackets , cabinets etc. i want to create casework schedule only for cabinets, i tried using filter option but dint work as i want.can anyone help me in this to obtain schedule of same family but only for the type we require. thanks,

add a yes/no type parameter to the casework families, called "Show on Casework Schedule" or something like that. Then filter your schedule by that parameter. This will create a checkbox parameter in the type parameters of your casework families, you can check the family types that you want to appear on the schedule.

i created a yes/no type parameter to the casework families, called "Show on Casework Schedule. But iin schedule filter that parameter is not seen. Even if i check off in family properties it is seen in schedule.i tried creating the same yes.no parameter in scheulde also but somehow dint work.

be sure to add the "Show on Casework Schedule" parameter to the list of fields in your schedule, it has to be the exact same parameter as the one added to your casework families, adding another one with the same name in the schedule won't work. Once the parameter is added to the list of fields in the schedule, then you can filter the schedule by that field.
