I am using Revit Architecture 2012. I am currently working on one project, which consists of three floors.I need to set-up 'Filters' and 'View Templates' for wall/partition layouts and Fire Strategy layouts. I set up filters, and in Visibility and graphics properties, I define the colour fill for each filter category. All this I was adjusting in my ground floor.

Then I go to the first floor and I switch to the Filters tab and the filters are listed but not color fills are associated with each filter name, so I have to adjust again the same colors like in my ground floor. I am using a lot of different colors, so it is quite time consuming.

Is this a bug of the function, or am I doing something incorrectly? Or does anyone know of a different way of transferring filter/view template setting between floors? Cheers for any advice offered.

Luba

View template settings are assigned manually, by view in the view properties.  Then simply apply the "default"  <Assigned> view template.
