I am using Revit 2010. I am trying to create an accurate roof plan. In the roof plan, I want to show the walls under roof. When I add the roof, I attach the exterior to walls to the roof to eliminate the space between the wall and the roof. When I do that, the part of the wall that attaches to the roof is not visible in the roof plan where I need the walls to appear. Does anyone have a solution? Will I have to modify my view range?

Roof plans typically do not show the walls below the roof so you are doing something unusual. Your options are to underlay the floor below, to make the view wireframe (probably not good) or to change the roof in VG to transparent.

You can even turn on your underlay, override lw, and then turn it off again and the lines you override will remain live.
