Hello all,

This is my first post but i have lurked and searched often.

My question is: Can i create a walkthrough using existing 3d views in Revit 2011?

I have a series of views I am using to render from. Each has specific objects hidden and different shadows. I would like to render the images over the weekend.

I know I can render individual Key Frames in a walkthrough, but it is a pain in the curse to set up each Key Frame exactly like the 3d views I already have.

 I also know I could set up a Journal file to render my existing 3d views. I have limited code skills, and would prefer to use the built-in settings in Revit like the Walk through.

Revit really just needs a batch rendering code built in.

Wellll, You could make a view template from your 3d views, and apply the template to a walkthrough view to give it nearly identical properties.  Objects you've hidden -specifically- in the view with overrides to VG will not be applied in a template, but if you've controled visibility by categories and worksets and such, you'll be good to go.
