Hi,

I have created a family using Detail component line based template. Also assigned some text to read the length using generic annotation family - Everything is working fine till here.

Now when load the family to project & change the length, the text reads the value but its location is not changing - refer attached snapshot..

Is there any way to link the text location - please advise

in annotation familie you can make a group of the text and add in a invisible line in the group, i use that to allign text in annotation families

Thanks Dafpfy & nasty

If you hover the mouse over the label then also it can be selected & locked to reference plane.

cheers
