We are using Revit 2009 and I am having an issue when transfering schedules from one project to another.

We have set up a master file (guide sheet) with our standard sheets and schedules. We then start a new project and uset he File -> Insert from View function to copy the sheets, views and schedules to our new project. However we are having issue with the phasing of the orginal schedules (in guide sheets) transfering to the new project.

I have the phasing of the guidesheet schedules set to "show new" but when they are inserted into the new project the phasing always changes to "show all" this is an issue because with have items that are phased as existing and new in the "new" project and only want new items to appear in the schedules.

any help or advise

J.

You should create your own template file rather than transferring.  It is much easier to do.

Yes, that would be the best way however our client has a template that we must use when we start all of our projects. So the template is out.

I don't understand .... change your clients template adding the items you need.
