Hi there,

I've looked all over the place trying to find out if it is possible to create an array with dissimilar elements in Revit. (Using 2012btw).

In this particular case, I built a bank of identical drawer elements in an array, to form a short stack of drawers.

I'd like to subtly alter this array so that each drawer features its own lock.  I made visibility parameters for each lock, by name - Lock 1 visible, Lock 2 visible, etc..

In this particular case, I found a way to get what I want (without using an array) but if there is any way to do this with an array - I really want to know - for this project and for future projects.

The fundamental idea of an array is not about the elements in the array, it is about their spatial relationship, so if the Revit array can allow dissimilar elements to exist in a controllable spatial relationship, that would be fantastic.
