Hey guys,

Having a problem with stairs. I want to do a rectangle stair case which travels up 3 levels i want one over the top of the

other but obviously it will be higher. Revit says its overlapping but it doesnt understand that it will be at a different level

also can i specify what level i want my landings at?

There was a thread on this yesterday with an interesting workaround.

Typically, NO, you cannot have overlapping boundary lines.  it gets confused.  But... apparently if you draw your stair as a spiral... finish it, and then edit it and drag the sketch lines to overlap it is able to remember that it's not a crisscross of overlapping boundaries.

I'm not sure I'd recommend this, still.  It'll be a pain in the curse to edit, later.  I'd build it in three separate stages, one per floor.
